Hydroseeding

Hydroseeding

Hydroseeding (also referred to as hydromulching) is an economical and efficient alternative to traditional methods of grass seeding. In a single operation, seed, mulch, fertilizer and water are applied simultaneously.  Hydroseeding can replace labor-intensive sodding in residential applications, or manual seed broadcasting at construction sites.  It eliminates the need for straw cover. Germination is faster. Erosion can be far better controlled.

The Amber Group has developed the TAG-Bind series of hydroseeding additives specifically formulated to enhance erosion control, improve water absorption and retention, increase the range and controllability of spray equipment, provide greater uptake of fertilizers, and more.  TAG-Bind products provide user benefits with products that are all-natural, non-hazardous and non-toxic, and that meet the strictest environmental standards including coverage under numerous US FDA regulations.

TAG-Bind 1000

TAG-Bind 1000 is a tackifier that causes fiber mulch to adhere to the seed bed until the seed germinates and establishes a stable root system. The product has a carefully controlled mesh size to minimize lumping and to provide rapid dissolution with superior film-forming characteristics, including clarity and full transparency.  The product is compatible with typical fertilizer blends.  TAG-Bind 1000 is fully resistant to water hardness so that untreated surface or ground water can be used for solution preparation.  TAG‑Bind 1000 is formulated with components affirmed by the US FDA as “Generally Recognized As Safe” – GRAS – for use in food under 21CFR 184.1339.

TAG-Bind 2000

TAG-Bind 2000 is a tackifier that causes fiber mulch to adhere to the seed bed until the seed germinates and establishes a stable root system.  The product has a carefully controlled mesh size to minimize lumping and to provide rapid dissolution with superior film-forming characteristics, including clarity and full transparency.  The bond formed by TAG-Bind 2000 has superior resistance to rainfall, making it a better choice on sloping terrain. Additionally, the bond is more stable against sun or oxidation induced breakdown and is resistant to pH extremes.  The product is compatible with typical fertilizer blends.  TAG‑Bind 2000 solutions may be prepared with hard water like surface or ground water.  TAG-Bind 2000 is formulated with components affirmed by the US FDA as “Generally Recognized As Safe” – GRAS – for use in food under 21CFR 184.1339 or for use as an additive to food under 21CFR 172.695 and.

TAG-Bind 5000

TAG-Bind 5000 is a tackifier that causes fiber mulch to adhere to the seed bed until the seed germinates and establishes a stable root system.  The product has a carefully controlled mesh size to minimize lumping and to provide rapid dissolution with superior film-forming characteristics, including clarity and full transparency.  The bond formed by TAG-Bind 5000 has superior resistance to rainfall, making it a better choice on sloping terrain.  The bond is more stable against sun or oxidation induced breakdown and is resistant to pH extremes.  Additionally, TAG-Bind 5000 has components that enhance its dispersibility and add additional stability when high-alkalinity water is used.  The product is compatible with typical fertilizer blends.  TAG-Bind 5000 solutions may be prepared with hard water like surface or ground water.  TAG‑Bind 5000 is formulated with components affirmed by the US FDA as “Generally Recognized As Safe” – GRAS – for use in food 21CFR 184.1339 and 184.1155 or for use as an additive to food contact under 21CFR 175.210 and 172.695.
