Dust Control
The technologies used in our dust control products have evolved to provide results that exceed our customers’ performance needs while meeting the most stringent environmental and regulatory standards. With air quality in mind, all of our products are engineered to provide their high levels of performance without the use of volatile hydrocarbon solvents. For those products that require non aqueous liquids, we have designed those formulations to employ agriculturally produced, eco-friendly oils.
Water quality is benefited by the fact that our products contain no hazardous or toxic constituents, nor do any of the components produce any such substances on breakdown. Further, the inherently high levels of dust control performance allow significant reductions in water use across the entire range of applications.
For those special cases that fall outside the ranges for which our standard products are designed, custom formulations are available. By carefully designing products that combine all of these features – performance superiority, environmental friendliness, customization – with unsurpassed ease of application, we are able to provide users with low cost and peace of mind.
ArenaTech
Dust control in arenas presents a unique group of demands and ArenaTech is up to the challenge. Animals, their handlers, and spectators are all in close proximity to any potential dust particles and to any dust control agents. Designed for indoor and outdoor arenas and paddocks, ArenaTech is formulated entirely from agriculturally derived, eco-friendly materials, unlike other products that rely on lignin sulfonate, calcium chloride or magnesium chloride. Application of ArenaTech is simplified by its ease of dispersal in almost any type of sprayer.
BioTAG
Designed as a clear alternative to Lignin Sulfonate, Calcium Chloride and Magnesium Chlorides, BioTAG is a 100% agriculturally derived vegetable oil based dust suppressant that is all natural and extremely environmentally friendly. BioTAG is a humectant and will absorb moisture out of the air and penetrate back into the soil. This process reactivates BioTAG, allowing for a decreased amount of water and product in follow-up treatments. BioTAG is the perfect choice for wineries, dairies, and ag land where environmental sensitivity is of the upmost importance.
DuraTAG
DuraTAG is an emulsified resin specifically formulated for severe dust control problems. Best used on heavily traveled dirt roads and haul roads, DuraTAG is a powerful and long-lasting soil binder that penetrates the aggregate at deeper rates than typical dust suppressants. DuraTAG is an all-natural, environmentally safe oil that will protect your soil from weather and traffic degradation. DuraTAG is easily applied with almost any type of spray equipment. The solubility of DuraTAG in water makes it extremely easy to work with. The versatility of this multi-purpose dust suppressant makes this an excellent selection. DuraTAG is shipped as a concentrated product and applied at high dilution ratios making it extremely cost-effective.
DuraTAG Plus
DuraTAG Plus is a superior polymeric soil solution that binds soil aggregates, reducing airborne particles that cause environmental, health and visibility issues. DuraTAG Plus is an environmentally safe solution to control dust in difficult applications including haul roads, construction sites, runways and more. While providing excellent bonding and cohesion to the soil, DuraTAG Plus is long lasting and is one of the highest performing dust suppressants on the market today.
DustBinder
Designed for mining operations and quarries, DustBinder is an efficient surface coating agent that forms a clear membrane over the application area. DustBinder is also an excellent choice for stockpiles and soil waterproofing and works extremely well in arid areas with a high degree of protection from wind erosion.
EnviroClear
Some dust control applications do not require extensive drive-over resistance, nor are they subject to highly erosive conditions, where enhanced binding capability would be beneficial. For those applications, EnviroClear, a highly concentrated biodegradable blend of organic wetting agents, can be considered. EnviroClear, at very low concentrations, reduces the surface tension of water, and eliminates water beading and allows the water to better penetrate soils to greater depths. With enhanced wettability, a far lesser quantity of water is needed to achieve the desired dust control effect. Because of the low concentration requirement and ease of dispersion into a spray water tank, EnviroClear can be used without any need to modify existing equipment.
SoilCap
Earthen piles and dirt fields at construction sites are subject to wind and rain erosion, resulting in potential air and surface water contamination. These problems, along with the local “dust nuisance” issue, can be avoided with the use of SoilCap, our custom-blended capping agent. SoilCap binds smaller particles into agglomerates up to ¼ inch size that are highly resistant to wind or rain erosion. The unique chemistry of SoilCap forms a strong bond in less than four hours after application. The product is readily dispersible in water, for ease of application.
UltraTAG
UltraTAG is a concentrated liquid, natural oil comprised of from 100% agriculturally derived components, including emulsifying agents to enhance soil penetration. UltraTAG is approved under USDA rules as a biologically based dust suppressant. UltraTAG goes deep under the soil’s surface creates and maintains a durable and long-lasting moisture layer on individual soil particles and a particle-to-particle bond that further enhances suppression of dust. These characteristics allow treated soils to be reactivated with reduced amounts of water and UltraTAG in subsequent treatments. UltraTAG is readily dispersible in water providing the user with the flexibility to adjust product concentration to the specific requirements of the application and existing equipment. UltraTAG also has excellent resistance to UV degradation and to the effects of rain on treated soils. UltraTAG is the superior choice for durability, treatment efficiency, ease of application, and economics for demanding dust suppression applications.
